Learning Environments
A key component of integrating and supporting technology in the classroom is the need for explicit instruction. Students need clear instructions, set expectations, and access to scaffolding/support. In order to provide effective instruction across learning environments using educational technology, teachers need to be intentional about how they implement tools. Google Suite is cloud-based, so students can access learning from anywhere at any time which supports online, blended, and in-person learning environments. Through Google Suite, students are able to submit homework from anywhere (school, home, etc), they can respond to emails, edit assignments, or prepare for class from almost anywhere, and work is saved as they go. Students can share their progress with teachers for feedback and share with peers to collaborate. Access to version histories also support the editing and learning process. In terms of educational technology, Google Suite supports a classroom full of students in virtually any educational setting.

Terminology and Tools
Educational technology is essential to the modern classroom. Now, more than ever, teachers are expected to provide some level of online learning. Tools of online learning that teachers are expected to understand and support include learning management systems (Canvas/Google Classroom), gradebooks (Synergy), chat/email (ParentSquare/RingCentral), or external tools (Kami/Peardeck). Students' experiences with remote and blended learning have also increased the demand for differentiation and options. In order to meet the needs of all students, teachers need to consider how they provide access to materials so that students can keep up with assignments and due dates.
